Photosensitive Seizure Warning

A very small percentage of people may experience seizures when exposed to certain visual patterns, flashing lights, or moving graphics — including those that can appear in video games. Even people with no history of seizures may have an undiagnosed condition.

Symptoms can include lightheadedness, altered vision, eye or face twitching, jerking or shaking of limbs, disorientation, confusion, or momentary loss of awareness. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop playing immediately and consult a doctor. Parents should watch for or ask children about these symptoms.

To reduce risk: play in a well-lit room, sit a reasonable distance from the screen, take 10–15 minute breaks every hour, and do not play when drowsy or fatigued.

Repetitive Strain & Eye Fatigue

Extended play may cause hand, wrist, or eye discomfort. Take regular breaks. If you experience persistent pain, numbness, or tingling, stop playing and consult a doctor.
